Fabrication built on Experience
Established by Tom Upton, Stop n Weld brings togethers nearly two decades of welding and fabrication experience, with a particular focus on automotive and motorsport fabrication.
Tom began his career as a metalsmith in the British Army, spending five years developing a strong foundation in metalwork, fabrication and engineering. Following his time in the Army, he moved into heavy engineering before making the transition into the motorsport industry.
Around 2014, Tom entered the world of professional motorsport, working on World Rallycross Supercars and travelling internationally as a chief fabricator. Working at the highest levels of competition provided invaluable experience in producing strong, lightweight and precise fabrication where relaibility and attention to detail are critical.
With extensive experience across a wide range of materials and applications, Stop n Weld offers welding and fabrication using a variety of processes, including:

- TIG Welding- aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel and assorted aerospace grade materials
- MIG Welding- mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- TIG Brazing
